Comments: WOW! The PQ of this release is insane. I am giving this a perfect 5/5. It is one of the best I have ever seen in HD optical. This is an AVC encode on to a BD50 averaging in the high 20's to low 30's Mbps. This movie is as sharp as they get and there is absolutely no film debris or grain. The colors are vibrant and pop off the screen and flesh-tones are spot-on. I know this is a strange comparison, but the PQ of this disc reminds me of King Kong on HD-DVD. It has a similar feel to me. I listened using the 7.1 PCM option. There was little use of the Surrounds and LFE as this is mainly a dialog driven movie. The dialog is where the AQ excels. Conversation can be heard beautifully in the Center Channel. I am still amazed how good this PQ is. If you are a fan of this film, this purchase is a complete no-brainer. ****This release may also include BD-J Features**** With this release you have the ability to store bookmarks and there are controllable menu effects. You can move the directional pad so that an interface pops up and you can graphically control the speeds of the FF/REW, or jump directly to any part of the movie by dragging the timeline. There are some other things I will experiment around with as well.
