Comments: I just got through watching Underworld and one word can sum up my feelings, "BEAUTIFUL." This film has a very artistic feel to it, much like the film "Sin City" did. In-terms of PQ there is a fair amount of grain, which can lead the picture to look soft at times, however it is that grain and the dark color scheme which leads to the artistic feel I spoke of before. This film is an AVC encode averaging in the low 30 Mbps's. At times I saw it spike above 40 Mbps. In-terms of AQ it was perfect in my opinion. I watched using the 4.6 Mbps PCM 5.1 option. The Surrounds and LFE were used often and to perfection and the Center Channel reproduced the dialog flawlessly. The featurettes of this release too were quite interesting. It gives you a behind the scenes look at the creation of this film. Regardless if you are a fan of this film or have never seen it, I highly recommend this purchase.
