Comments: I have to say I am somewhat unimpressed with this overall disc. For this release Lionsgate surprised me and went with an MPEG-2 encode. The bitrate averages in the mid-20's Mbps range. The picture was very inconsistent. It was quite grainy and soft at time and sharp at others. I also found a fair amount of noise in the dark scenes. Colors also seemed a bit washed-out and less vivid then other recent animation encodes. In-terms of AQ this release is great. I listened using the PCM 7.1 4.6 Mbps option. The Surrounds and LFE were used often and were powerful. The center channel is used nicely as dialog is crisp and clear as well. I was a bit let down with this release. It is however a decent improvement over the DVD of this film. I would recommend this purchase only for fans of this film.
