Comments: This release of The Queen was very solid. Buena Vista went with a BD25 and another high bitrate VC-1 encode. The picture was very strong at times, yet a bit soft at others. The colors were solid and flesh-tones were spot-on. I listened to this film using the PCM 5.1 surround sound format and it delivered a solid performance. The dialog especially in the center channel was very well represented. This film was somewhat sparse of special features. I can however recommend this purchase if you are a fan of this film. If you are not sure, giving this a rent may be your best option.
