Comments: This Blu ray title is a 2.35:1 release. It has a green/yellow tint look to the movie which actually helps set the mood of the story. I especially liked the color palette and how it was used to give the picture quality an extra boost. Details in some scenes were absolutely stunning. Some of the darker scenes were lacking better shadow detail which is the only reason I could not give it a 4 in picture quality. This does not take anything away from the movie though so do not hold it against it. The audio (with subtitles) was in German (uncompressed) which had good fidelity with strong dialogue. It was as good as it needed to be and nothing more. The suspenseful thriller had me going until its climax in the end. I had a good time with the nice visuals and the adequate audio. I can SEE why it won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film 2006. Nicely done!
