Comments: This movie is in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. The Invisible is one of those newer darker type of teen movies. It has a tinted blue effect that actually really helps draw you into the story. There were more than a few scenes where excessive grain was added. The night scenes are done exceptionally well though and have great shadow detail. Black level is nice and inky black. The PCM and Dolby Digital soundtracks are done well. Some sounds can sneak up on you from behind. Dialogue was distinct. As the drama unfolds the sound helps give you that sense of urgency. Overall I have to recommend watching this one at night or in a very dark room. It is definitely worth a rent especially this time of year!
