Comments: A very nice improvement over the first Blu-ray release of this film. It is in AVC usually hovering in the low 30's Mbps range. This film is nearly grain-free. I did detect the occasional blip of film debris. I really feel this transfer excelled in terms of color accuracy and sharpness. Many outdoor scenes were vibrant and breathtaking. I also noticed absolutely no macroblocking. I really looked for this during the action sequences. They were as smooth as butter in terms of macroblocking. AQ is another area where this film does good, but not great. I heard very good use of the surrounds and the occasional use of LFE. Dialog was also solid, making good use of the center channel. I listened using the PCM 5.1 option. There is also a Dolby TrueHD option. I can recommend this purchase if you are a fan of this film.
