Comments: This Blu ray title is presented in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. Surf's Up is very vivid with sharp close ups. Blacks are very deep which help add to the impressive image depth. These digital cartoons are becoming crowd favorites on both HD formats and it is easy to see (no pun intended) why. Still some scenes were just full of digital noise which washed out the picture. Those were not to often so it does not take anything away from the movie. Besides, kids won't care!

As for audio, both the Dolby TrueHD and PCM soundtracks are very good. You will hear the strong waves from the ocean in all of the speakers. It really helps draw you and children into the action! Voices were also done nicely. Overall this title is very vibrant and it will keep kids wanting to watch it over and over again. If you need another Blu ray title to watch with your children then put this one on your list...
