Comments: This was done in the "combo" format by Universal. Universal went with an HD30 VC-1 encode which does quite well. The video in this transfer was solid and vibrant. Many of the daytime scenes which take place in Lake Tahoe just seem to really "pop" of the screen and have a nice 3D feel to them. The sound is solid as well. I listened to this film using the Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) option and for the most part it was strong. There were times though where I felt the surrounds and LFE were not being used to their true potential, especially in the hotel action sequence towards the end of the film.
