Comments: This HD DVD is presented ina 1.85:1 aspect ratio. This is another dark tale about everybody's favorite doll. With many dark scenes it was good to see strong black level. Colors stood out when they were called upon. Like after a slashing the red blood is rich and vibrant. Shadow detail is excellent. Fleshtones were rendered well. Some scenes seemed to suffer from a little edge enhancement which would help add the appearence of digital noise. The Dolby TrueHD soundtrack puts in a solid performance. You can hear Chucky's little footsteps behind you! His voice sounds the creepiest ever and his laugh will make the hairs stand up on your neck! The subwoofer is called upon in some scenes which will add to the effects of the story. Overall I enjoyed watching Chucky be a loving Father more than a killer Good Guy Doll. This is a good one to watch at night or alone! If you are a Chucky fan then you will enjoy it.
