Sony to Release Band's Visit, xXx 2, Maximum Risk, Half Past Dead and 7 Seconds

Sony Pictures has announced The Band's Visit for Blu-ray on July 29th, 2008.
This heartwarming and poignant winner of the Cannes Film Festival Un Certain Regard prize is the witty story of strangers in a strange land. A brass band comprised of members of the Egyptian police force head to Israel to play at the inaugural ceremony of an Arab arts center. After taking the wrong bus they find themselves stranded in a desolate, small Israeli town, somewhere in the heart of the desert.
This Israeli comedy will be presented with original Hebrew 5.1 audio, subtitled in Danish, English (UK), English (US), Finnish, Hindi, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish. The disc will also feature a 'making of' featurette and a photo gallery. It is great to see more foreign language titles being released on Blu-ray in the USA.
