Comments: The 2.40:1 Blu ray title has it all! Great colors and very good black level. And by having it all I am also referring to the Dolby TrueHD soundtrack. Simply put it draws you into the mood of the story. They did a great job of capturing 1827. Beethoven's flashbacks will look REAL on any screen! The skies and green leaves look the way color is supposed to. Just a couple of minor complaints, and I do mean minor. A couple of the night scenes did appear to be washed out. This was not enough to be distracting though. Also, there was slight edge enhancement but not enough to be bothersome. Now getting to what this title is really about, the MUSIC. Simply put, this is one of the BEST Dolby TrueHD titles I have heard so far. Dialogue is very clear and distinct. When Beethoven plays piano you hear the sound distributed perfectly throughout all the channels. You really feel like you are at a symphony. If you are not a fan of classical music after watching Immortal Beloved you will be!
