Comments: This boxset is very nicely done in-terms of packaging. This set comes in a nice cardboard holder an an insert which holds all 7 HD-DVD discs and they unfold in a comic book-like manner. The PQ of this release was average. The image showed great detail and accurate colors. I was however surprised at the amount of grain. The grain is abundant. I do not recall seeing this much grain while watching these episodes on NBC HD this past television season. With the excessive grain came a slightly soft picture. I also noticed a bit of EE during certain objects in bright scenes. On disc one when Jessica and her son arrive at her home, the halo's around the windows of the home are very evident. The SQ of this release is excellent. It makes excellent use of the Center Channel and Surrounds and the LFE is used to perfection throughout. This release also has some interesting U-Control features which fans of Special Features should enjoy. If you are a fan of this series, I will recommend this purchase. If you have never seen this series, please rent first as the PQ is not reference.
