Comments: As far as PQ goes this transfer is good, not great but good. It is in AVC usually hovering in the low 30's Mbps range. This film was somewhat grainy and I did detect the occasional blip of film debris. I really feel this transfer excelled in terms of color accuracy. Many outdoor scenes were vibrant and breathtaking. I also noticed absolutely no macroblocking. I really looked for this during the sword-fighting scenes. They were as smooth as butter in terms of macroblocking. AQ is another area where this film does good, but not great. I heard very good use of the surrounds and the occasional use of LFE. Dialog was also solid, making good use of the center channel. I can recommend this purchase if you are a fan of this film. This film lacks any "must-see" Special Features. It contains only a "making-of" featurette and the Hollywood premier.
