The Condemned
Lionsgate Home Entertainment
Released 9/18/07
Review By: Joshua Noyes

Picture Quality - 4.5/5
Audio Quality - 4/5
Special Features - 3/5
Overall - 4.25/5

Comments: This release of The Condemned was very solid. Lionsgate went with a BD50 and another high bitrate VC-1 encode. The PQ was sharp and vivid throughout. The colors were solid and flesh-tones were spot-on. I listened to this film using the DTS HD 7.1 surround sound format and it delivered a solid performance. The dialog especially in the center channel was very well represented and there was ample use of The Surrounds and LFE channels. This film was somewhat sparse of special features. I can however recommend this purchase if you are a fan of this film. If you are not sure, giving this a rent may be your best option.
