Comments: I am VERY impressed with the PQ of this release. At no time did I witness any motion-blur or macro-blocking and there are quite a few action sequences in this film. This transfer is also free of any grain and film debris as well and I mean absolutely free of it. Colors were also spot-on, especially the greens of the trees and grass and blue's of the sky. Flesh-tones also looked absolutely perfect. I did detect every so often the slightest amount of softness to the picture, usually during indoor scenes. This AVC transfer was often in the low to mid 30's Mbps range and I would compare this favorably to an Apocalypto, but not quite at the level of a POTC DMC. Audio is another area where this transfer shines. I listened using the 5.1 PCM option in 24bit 6.9Mbps.The sound is superb and the LFE and Surrounds are used nicely. Dialog is also strong and powerful through the center channel. Strong and Powerful is the best I could describe the over-all audio performance on this disc.
